Enete has worked as an investment research professional for the last 10 years for large institutional asset managers. His duties included valuing public stock securities, modeling asset allocations for billion dollar pension plans and serving as a forensic accountant for a trillion dollar bond manager. His research interests include how new developments in Biblically Responsible Investing (BRI) alter how people think about investment prudence, how to optimally manage the spending of a Christian endowment and how to reconcile the natural tension of a Christ follower between sacrificial giving and shrewd saving. Enete currently holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designations. He earned a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Southern California and a M.S. in Mathematical Finance from the University of North Carolina, Charlotte. Enete has been married to his wife Tammy since 2013 and they recently gave birth to their first child.
Markley is an associate professor of accounting and finance at the Crowell School of Business. With a career in business spanning three decades, Markley has held several executive positions overseeing the financial, operational and business development for both public and private corporations. Markley received a B.A. in Business and an MBA from the University of La Verne. He also earned an MPA from the University of Southern California and in 2019, Markley graduated with his doctorate from the University of Florida’s Warrington College of Business. Markley’s research interest is on effective college teaching and learning methods with a focus on accounting and finance courses. Markley has also taught undergraduate and graduate accounting and finance courses at the Dr. Robert K. Jab’s School of Business, California Baptist University. Markley has been married to his wife Rhonda for 30 years. They met at church when living in beautiful Bishop, California, and now they live in Orange County with their German Shepherds.
