Student Takes Hiatus from Biola

Recession Causes Student to Take a Semester Off

Dec. 22, 2009 By Jenna Bartlo

Autumn Brim, a junior, penned her thoughts about leaving Biola for a semester because she cannot afford the cost of tuition. The Orange County Register published her contemplative essay in the Saturday, December 19, 2009 edition.  She loves Biola, and regrets her “hiatus”, as she calls it, but she knows this detour is part of God’s plan for her life.

Help students like Autumn stay in school by donating to the Biola Fund.
