Filmmakers around the world can now experience the Biola Media Conference live and access the archives on their iPhones and iPads with the new Biola Media Conference App, available for purchase at Apple’s iTunes store.

The new application will enhance the media conference experience, according to chairman of the cinema and media arts department at Biola University, Jack Hafer.

“This, along with our growing media archive of practical, cutting edge insights from some of Hollywood’s top leaders provide practical wisdom into becoming better at our craft and finding the creative breakthroughs that we all need to succeed in the entertainment industry,” said Hafer.

The app is a practical tool for conference attendees, putting information at their fingertips, helping people quickly and easily find out more information about the speakers, review the schedule, tweet a question and purchase videos with insights from some of Hollywood’s sharpest minds.

The application will stream Simon Swart, executive vice president of Fox Home Entertainment, Steve Taylor, director of “Blue Like Jazz,” DeVon Franklin, vice president of production at Columbia/Sony Pictures and author of “Produced By Faith,” and McNair Wilson, former Disney imagineer and expert on "Recapturing Your Creative Spirit."
